How to handle virtual assistants?

I posted an ad on Craigslist and i got 9 people that wanted to work for me to inspect a house pictures etc etc. What do you tell the people that are not getting the job? Do you tell them "hey, sory, someone else got the job". Or what do tell them? I feel bad for them they seem motivated.

I think you're suffering from analysis paralysis.

Get the people you need in place and start giving them work to do.  If they are reliable, they're worth their weight in gold.  If they're not reliable, stop giving them work.
