Wholesale Home in Living Trust?

Good Morning BP,

I drove passed a home that looked vacant. I wrote the address down and did some research and found that the home is in a living trust.

Can a home in a living trust be wholesaled?

Of course it could. The trustee has all the authority the actual owner did unless the trust documents limit it in some way.

The problem is if the trustee is a bank, CPA or an attorney you are probably not going to have an easy time getting them to tie it up so you can wholesale it.

Your first step is to find and approach the trustee about buying the home.
