This is as good a place as any I guess.

The current political climate is forcing me to escalate my exit plan. Later this summer I will be moving my family out of the United States. This country is headed down a very dark and dangerous path.

@Bill Gulley - So, I guess I should change my name here to Jack Daniels. @Joe Butcher - I think you will see his stock pic again in a different pose on that website that I linked to.

Jim Beam is shorter, take your pick, JD or JB.

I'm just wondering what the fascination is, why you miss him so much that you'd search for him. Might ask Joe Gore where he is, he may know.

And so many swallowed his stuff hook, line and sinker, why do you think we had issues in the beginning? LOL :)

I'm a Tennesseean, so it's obviously JD - GJ actually (Gentlemen Jack). And I wasn't searching for him. On another RE forum, someone asked about a qualifying health-care plan since they were about to take plunge and go full-time into REI. I went to the website of my plan so that I could copy-paste the link, and there was ole Duncan Taylor. You can see him at www.chministries.org. Regardless of the fake name and fake pic, it was obvious that he was educated, experienced, and intelligent, He also was a good writer an communicator. And it didn't hurt at all that he and I had pretty much the same basic world-view on business, the economy, politics, and government. That's why the two of you had issues Bill. For the same reason that you and I have issues. We have very different beliefs.

Yes, Bryan, you and I do share a similar world view.

The photo was stock and judging by the reactions here and the clumsy stalking attempt by the pinhead in Chicago it appears it was a wise thing to do.

The name is the one I've used in business for over 50 years. I can only WISH had a connection to the famous whiskey.

You know, that could explain his coming in with guns blazing, he may have read some of my posts and decided he just couldn't take it any more.... LOL

I'd buy experience in business, not so much really in RE as it's not far away. Education, yes, but I seriously doubt to the extent claimed, especially being a CPA. Intelligent, yes, more than most.

GJ, good for you, I agree, actually you and I may not be as far apart as you think, I'm more open minded, probably more accepting of other's views but that doesn't mean the some of the core views are far apart, I'm just not extreme.

I find it odd that someone would play such games on the internet and be found on a ministry site. He did know The Book.

Have a great and profitable day! :)

More than a little self-important aren't you.

No, your long winded and overly cumbersome diatribes are not what brought me here. But, if it makes you feel better, it's all good.

All I know Duncan Taylor said he knew Greg Abbott Attorney General of Texas but one call proved him wrong, and I call his hand on it and after that he disappeared from BP.

Joe Gore

Well, Joe, you and *I* both know you never made that call.

Even though I don't live in TX, I am doing all I can to make sure he is the next governor instead of Abortion Barbie.

I am the other 'guy" but am not a guy but a lady and my account is also still active. I just felt that there wasn;t much going in these posts so I have not logged on for a while.

Hope to keep you entertained!

The 'other guy' was the pinhead from Chicago.

The locals tell me the lake usually inverts in late April or early May. But, it was below freezing again last night and will be again tonight. They tell me it might be late May or early June, like in 1982, before it happens. Until then, it is way too cold to get in by choice.

We all get busy and need to focus sometimes. Also, he said he took on a mentee and I don't think he's been around much since. I'd say he accomplished what he wanted to do. Who knows, he could be back at some point, but he didn't really seem to need anything except something to occupy his time while he was recoverying from knee surgery. I must say, he definitely livened things up around here with some stimulating conversations, so it would be nice to see him back at some point.

Honestly, I didn't come here to accomplish any agenda. It was just something to do while the knees were healing. But, this site is interestingly addictive.

Originally he signed up being in WA, but wasn't there saying he was out of country, then registered in GA. Who knows? Might ask Joe Gore, he may have an idea where Duncan went. He's an IT guy is what I thought so the internet doesn't seem to be a difficult thing to get on from anyplace. Said he was retired, then working a new job, so again, no idea. He's close to my age and at our ages a hospital stay can be a heart beat away. We've already lost a couple active members, but I'd bet he's still on the green side. :)

Yes, I am still on the green side. lol.

When I signed up I lived in WA state and disclosed that. When I changed my residence to GA, I disclosed that. When we recently moved up here on the lake in Dawsonville, I updated my profile again. If anyone is interested in a home in TPC Sugarloaf, Berkshire-Hathaway has the listing.

I left my position with the company in WA in February but I joined a VC at the start of March. That has been an E-Ticket ride so far. (Those my age will get it.)

I've just been busy. Between the new VC, mentoring, getting the WA property squared away, trying to buy the one next to it, moving to the lake, golf when I can and other activities I haven't been here very much lately. I'll try to get here more often. But summer is coming and that means the grandkids will take center stage.
