Can anyone recommend an investor friendly agent who's willing to pull comps and provide accurate ARV's?

When someone asks me if I am investor friendly - I always ask: are you agent friendly?

I may have a different view point, because I have been an investor much longer than an agent, but here are some tips:

- an agent's knowledge is proportional to the number of deals they do: national average is 7, which means many do 2 or 3. Find someone who does over 25 or better yet 50 transactions.

- settle with one agent: to ask several agents to bring you their best deals is silly. The best deals go to their best and most active clients.

- find an agent who has the heart of an educator

- find an agent who has done what you want to do (invest in a certain type of RE)

- most agents you will find at REI meetings are young an desperate for business; they think working with investors is easier than with first time home buyers. However, if you are looking for someone to write 30 offers a week, that's who you want, because they will do whatever it takes and are willing to work for an hourly rate or a flat fee per offer etc..
