you know the probably reason why you have 0 replies after almost a day... because your statement is too generic... i know being new is hard i was new at one point as were everyone on here so consider this my good action of the day.. here are some tips
Houston is HUGE say what part of town you are in.
REI is even BIGGER so say what you are looking to learn (please don't say everything) you can start with need help with wholesaling, marketing, flipping, rentals etc. Pick one and go for it.
one thing you did good was say you are willing to pay for it by working... GREAT how much time do you have for that all day every day ? 2 times a week for a few hours?? specify you availability.
you can also offer something like " interested in learning wholesale, lets meet at starbucks and ill pay for your coffee and take 30 minutes of your time to talk"
Best of Luck !
