How to find preforeclosures

Very new to wholesale / flip. What method or sources are the best for finding these prior to being picked over by everyone else? I would love to go door knocking on preforeclosure homes, and are looking for access to these other than Zillow etc.

Hi Brian, there is a company that we use called ReboGateway that allows you to search by certain "lead" types and one of them happens to be Notice of Default which is a stage in the pre-foreclosure process. They also have a lead type of new REO which might give you a heads up before anything else. I would give them a call and ask if this information is available in the counties you are searching in.
