Agent wont allow me to assign the contract

Every time i put an offer on a house, i get told that the agent or the seller will not allow assignment, which kills the deal immediately. Is there a way around this besides double closing or off market?

Thats simply a good experienced agent doing proper representation for their client.

Experienced agents know that many wholesaler dont close and that really negatively affects the listing and the sellers giving them false sense of security that they have a real deal.

1. When listings sale fail first thing other agents want to know is why and usually they think its something wrong with the house when in fact it was a buyer that was full of BS and could not close.
2. Sellers go out thinking they have a deal and contract for their new living arrangements only to have their deal fail and now it puts them in a pickle.

Wholesale should never be done with a listed property unless you give 100% full disclosure up front so the agent and seller knows you have no real money no real means to close unless you can find a buyer etc etc.. but of course here we are talking about this and poor wholesaler cant get deals LOL
