If wholesaling is really bad in Illinois, why are there real estate attorneys in Illinois that say “Yes. We do assignments of contract.”?

If you don’t believe me, then call them up and find out for yourself.  ;)

I’m also not mentioning the fact that there hasn’t been 1 case since the ban has been put into affect where an investor has been fined for wholesaling in Illinois.

@Mike Schorah The first question the attorney will ask is if you have a real estate license in Illinois. I'm guessing you don't and that's why they don't want to work with you. Illinois requires a brokers license. If you have one, you can wholesale all day.

Your second statement is also wrong. Plenty of wholesalers have been fined, but the information is not made available to the public.
