Looking to find my first deal in wholesaling

Nana Ofori
Posted

Hello everyone, my name is Nana Ofori I wanted to ask for tips on real estate wholesaling. I'm a 17 year old and I heard about real estate wholesaling about a year and half ago and ever since then I've been interested in doing it for a living one day. I've been trying to get my first deal but it's been difficult. I was wondering if you can give me tips on how to successfully get my first deal.

Quote from @Eliott Elias:

Be relentless and learn how not to take no from these sellers.

these "sellers" are not your enemy. Way too many people think this way.  I see this tiny dude on YouTube and others  go on and say... look all,  look how I am going to lower the offer and they jump live on video haggling the seller.

Do you realize that these these sellers are your clients. You need to respect them. You need to make them happy.

you are not running a business like this. This looks more like a scam.

you as a business are supposed to bring value to your clients. Not only are most of you not doing that, (because these sellers never came to you by their own will... you invade them with aggressive intrusive marketing), but by being relentless and not taking "no" for an answer its harassment.

Think about what you are saying.

instead learn how to target people that actually want to sell.

Then just explain how it all works. Explain why the offer is a fair offer. If "no" then move on. Next seller. You made your case.

To all the new people out there... this is not about forcing it. It's not about brute force. It's about strategic marketing,  and then adding value. If you can keep on making your sellers smile, and keep having them ask you questions and keep giving value you will have a far easier time getting contracts signed.
