Allowing pets at MTR

Aditya Kohli
Posted

Hey all, I have a STR/MTR at Tucson, Arizona. Although we love pets, our STR is not designed to be most pet friendly ( white couch, lighter shade chairs, etc). Marketing on MTR platforms i figured most of the guests coming in have pets with them. Would it be worth it to allow pets to attract a larger pool of potential tenants ?

100%. I learned once I allowed pets, 2 things happened. 1) I had so many more tenants get interested. 2) My profitability went way up because I could charge for pets, and typically these tenants are nicer than most tenants and take care of their things better.
