Travis Peterson/Todd Morgan/Freedom Financial Services
I just started a deal to purchase a turnkey wholesale property in Detroit, MI from Travis Peterson and Todd Morgan. They have a team in place, including a title company, appraiser, property management, rehab contractor, and insurance company. I can't find anything really on either of them, which could be good or could be bad! They supposedly wholesale a lot of deals in Detroit, Indianapolis, and Cleveland.
Anyone ever hear of these folks, or dealt with them?
Thanks.
Dawn

Wow, I would like to add another client scam delivered by none other than Travis Peterson. I met a nice couple from NC who wanted our help with two properties they bought in Detroit a year ago and cannot get a hold of Travis Peterson to see about rents and rehab. We drove past the properties and my heart sank. This scammer sold two properties in some really rough neighborhoods for over 300% above market.
Now this couple is left with two junk properties that they will never recoup their money in.
I would love to hear any other legal advice they can take up as this guy needs to be stopped.
It frustrates me personally because there are good people in Detroit and fantastic opportunities here. Its scammers like Travis Peterson that make Detroit into the media joke it is.
