I was wondering if anyone has used or heard of this company...Texasbestcreditrepair from Austin TX? I went to apply for a mortgage and my credit is still not where it needs to be, last I checked it was improving but still need some work. a friend realtor of mine recommended me to this company saying they can improve your score in 6-12 mths but they ask $700 up front to get started.

Credit repair companies are scams.

Is the information on your credit report accurate? If not, get the incorrect items corrected or removed. If it is, then time and paying your bills on time, reducing your debt and living within your means is the best 'repair' your credit will ever get.
