Hello I am a Wholesaler in Memphis TN and just wanted to ask some tips on how to go about going down to the county courthouse to get a list of evictions or Homeowners behind on taxes???

@Eric Doss -  I've been after this list for a while.  @Douglas Skipworth is right that MDN is a great resource!  It will list the tax sale properties but the problem there is that at that point they are years behind and the homes typically are in disrepair. 

It technically is public record but what I've found is that the list of behinds is extremely long and most people catch-up before house/business is sold. (I have a good friend who is Clerk and Master in another county and she told me that many people - especially those with multiple properties - chose to pay late because they'd rather have the money for a few years than pay the city annually!)  I spent weeks researching properties to have most of them pulled before tax sale.

As a fellow Memphis wholesaler, Im not sure it is worth your marketing dollars. Or at least I decided against it for us.

It might be worth a trip to the courthouse to see if there are any insider tips they can give you. I haven't done that yet.

Or check out a company like ListSource.  Might be worth paying for.
