Probate Direct Mail.....

I'm getting ready to send some direct mail to a probate list. I was wondering how far back on the list should I start? ie. Should I pick probate cases that are about 6,9 months old? or 1 week old? Does it matter when the case gets settled as to when to send them?

I plan on hitting the same people 4-6 times, how far should I space out the mailings? Thanks for the help! much appreciated.

I've got a lot of different probate material from different guy/gals. They're all decent and pretty similar to each other. It wasn't until I had a little 1 on 1 time with an experienced probate investor did I get some specific answer to some specific questions I had come up with from reading so many different material.

I can tell you some things I've decided that is important to me as I move into probates.

find out:
who died
did they own property
are you interested in that property
who is the contact person
how do you contact that person

do these things:
mail right away
mail again at the 1,3 and 6 month marks
call rep if you have number
mail the attorney right away, 3 month mark
mail the heirs if applicable
make offers
make offers
make offers
make offers

make offers

repeat......................
