Podio CRM
Does anyone know how to have leads get automatically imported into Podio when they call their phone?
@Joe McCall Awesome video. I watched your webinar after thanksgiving, but didn't get it until I saw this video.
Thanks for the tutorial video that was a huge help.
One issue I am now having is that the leads are going into my Leads app as they are supposed to, but I am not receiving any notification of this so I end up having to check with app constantly.... Also I have already double checked and I am following the app where the new calls/voicemails do show in the activity area
This is also the clone of another app I use a webform on my website for importing leads and that way works perfect and I get an iPhone push alert everytime a new lead comes in.
Are notifications not compatible with the email to app function?
Thanks,
Bryan
I finally figured out my problem (with a little help from Sara May at Podio)
When you go to the "email to app" option it gives you an email address in the top area that is unique to you so others in your organization can see who is adding items to an app (this was the forward to email address I WAS using), below that is a "public email address" to add items to the app. That is the email address that must be used within google voice as the forward to address, if not podio thinks you are creating all of the calls, emails and texts so it wont notify you.
As soon as I changed it to the public send to email address everything starting working perfect including my iPhone push alerts
Good info. Thanks!
@Joe McCallYour video at http://screencast.com/t/1ZWh9sGr4T was awesome! It actually helped me think about how I work so much differently. I don't know how much time it took you to produce the video, but I would have to think it was less time than you would have spent typing out the answer.
What a great service you provided me!
Check out Callrail as well. It does not send the voicemail to your Podio Email as an attachement, but it will send you link instead that you can easily open in any browser without having to download the attachment. We found it very annoying to constantly download the attachments across the company. Callrail will also send you a link that lets you dial out using your lead capture number.

Looks like you folks are pretty serious into podio. I first heard about it a few weeks ago while networking. I like what I can see that it does from the website video, especially gmail integration! but is it useful for reminding you to follow up multiple times on leads, etc? My calendar is getting pretty full of reminding myself to call people. I'd love to have something like an email sent daily to me with tasks instead of clogging up my calendar.
Also, how functional is the app?

David,
To do what you want in Podio, you'd probably have to bring in a podio extension called Globiflow. Using globiflow you can setup a workflow that emails you a report of your "do today" tasks daily.
Thanks @Scott Costello. I'm not sure that it's worth $9/mo yet for us to do that, but good to know for future.
I would recommend that you hire a virtual assistant to help with the phone calls. Remember the less you work the more money you make. You don't want to be the bottleneck to your own success. Yes, making phone calls stinks but it is a necessary evil, so have a VA the do it. Stick to what you love about the business. I use Podio extensively for Real Estate Investing and other businesses and it is the only CRM I have used that truly automates my business. If the VA is making the calls then you will receive one email per day from Podio giving you a snap shot of all the activity. Unless a task has been assigned to you, then you will receive an email for that item.

Hey Ronald, are you able to call back from a mobile through that same link if you checked from you mobile device? I would like to call leads back from the same number they called into but all from 1 mobile if possible. Please let me know your advice on it. Thanks!

I actually recommend that you check out Vumber.com. It is better than Google Voice, in my opinion. It isn't free, but it allows you to have multiple numbers for multiple marketing campaigns or multiple markets.
I have a call center that takes my calls live. Is there way to link Podio to my call center number to be informed whenever there is an incoming call? Or am i better off having my Reps manually input the information?
Setting up our CRM still doing research, I am curious as to which of these CRM are compatible with WIX free site. I love the idea of connecting via social media. I have been stuck on this for a few days help please!!!
Flipper to be in Charlotte NC
@Joe McCall You sold me on Vumber. Thanks man. So much easier.
Google changed their settings and Joes video no longer applies. Having trouble figuring out how to get the calls to go to Podio. Does anyone know how to work this now? It doesn't give me the option to switch my primary email address or to add a new one (the podio address).
Bite the bullet and switch to Call Rail, Zapier, and Youtube simultaneously. Works like a charm.
