Tips and guidance for house hacking first home

Hi everyone! My name is Tyler Stewart, and I am a 19-year-old real estate agent in Maine. I am looking to purchase a 4 unit as my first home using FHA, as well as taking advantage of Maine Housing, which if qualified, will provide $3,500 per unit. This purchase will most likely not be made until next year. However, I have been and am trying to gather as much information as I can. If anyone has input, or if anyone has gone this route before, it would be a huge help if you replied! Thank you everybody! Have a great day!

@Tyler Stewart my advise is to keep it simple. Don’t take on a huge construction project and don’t buy in a high risk area.

You are better off paying more for a lower risk property than getting a great deal on a higher risk property
