So a friend of mine says there's a mobile home from 1976 for sale , the guys desperate and will take 5 grand. He is getting evicted He owes 4000 back lot rent. It's has a lot of new stuff: heating stove refridge It looks like I would do interior over The man is sick( aids) and is moving to Florida. What do I research for a mobile home. Whose responsibility is back rent ? Would that transfer to me? Anyone with thoughts or opinions please share

What's the plan thinking ahead?

Why would you want it if you don't own a park?

If you ever sell it, there is really no financing available to an owner occupant, you'll need a cash buyer.

As David mentioned, old trailers are free, haul offs.

Rent it? Parks can change rules and push out old trash cans.

Why do you even want to go there?

5K is 10% down on a seller financed stick built home bought from Harry Homeowner! :)
