Hey all,

What is everybody doing to prepare for the new interest hikes and correction this year and next?

Any veterans of past bubbles have advice on how to buy and hold in a bear market?

This could be a valuable thread.

BRRRR is just a new term for an old strategy of buying a business, fixing it up, and leveraging the increased value. It's been around forever and is not isolated to real estate. And, it beats the heck out of buying a property, not adding value, and facing a correction. The key is to have a financing term that is long enough to ride out a correction, which for many of us means using conventional financing or financing with a five year term...rather than using hard money.
