Hello BP family, I was looking into taking a real estate course to become a licensed realtor. I wanted to get some feedback from some of you on what's it like and what the in between steps of taking the class, becoming and agent to being a realtor. Any feedback and advice is appreciated. I got my license in Colorado, and while I do not regret it, I was surprised at all the little charges and fees that kept popping up.

I wrote an article for the BiggerPockets Blog about all the costs associated with getting your license. Check it out so you know more about the questions to ask. It's better to know before you start, than find out after you've already started paying...
