Hello BPers,

Is anybody familiar with the eviction process in Cleveland Heights? Anybody knows about how long it takes to get a court date after filing? Is there a website where I can find info on the case? My case was filed 5 weeks ago, and still no court date.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I believe you can check on the county docket. Cleveland Heights is one of the slowest cities around here. They are often "backed up." At least, that is what they always claim. How long was the tenant there when you owned it? Evictions are never fun and are always costly. I'm sorry this happened. Good luck to you. Hopefully, it goes fast and doesn't cost too much!
