Thinking about mowing yards
So I have a duplex that I am taking care of the mowing. I'm strongly leaning toward buying a riding lawn mower,so I can use at my personal residence as well as the rental.
I was thinking about mowing other yards on the side. Wanted to see if there would be any interest in it. I am located in Indianapolis.

I didn't see your post 18d ago but I understand where you were coming from. One of my houses bordered a utility out-lot several years ago. The company that owned that lot paid me to mow it while I mowed mine but I doubt that I'd start my own larger scale lawn care business.
I usually don't mow my rentals any more. Some companies through the years have done a crappy job - like cutting into vinyl siding w/a trimmer, etc. If I had property in Indy I've love to hire someone who is also a landlord to mow it.
I think if I was retired I'd probably mow them all most of the time, paying a premium to have someone mow when I was traveling during mowing season. There's something about being outside, getting some sun, and seeing satisfaction in a job well done - even on a hot August day in southern Indiana - that gives me a sense of satisfaction. My sense fun probably doesn't align w/most folks!
