Just the Kitchen Sink...

I need to replace a 2-tub sink with a large 1-tub sink, so I'll be going from 2 drains to 1. I will also need to cut through a granite counter to add the larger sink.

Who would I contract this out to?  Do I need to find a plumber and a granite person? Or is there a type of contractor who can do the whole project?

Given how busy the contractors are in our area, I'd like to not waste anyone's time, so I'm starting here.  :-)

Thank you!

Any decent handyman can do this.  The plumbing part is easy. Remove continuous flow and add a tail piece. New trap.

Cutting the stone is not a good idea.  It's messy (water and diamond blade). Also,  you can crack it.

Consider a single bowl sink of the same dimensions.  If this is a rental, I wouldn't touch it.
