Finding A General Contractor

Hey BP Friends, I found a property in Utah County and will need to have it worked on in order to get the property fixed and livable (i.e. Demo, add rooms/bathrooms). We want to find someone to have a long term relationship with. How do I go about finding a GC in my area? Thank you!

Go to your local Home Depot. head to the pro desk area and ask to speak with the store manager. They know who the good contractors are and who is in there store every day. They will also have a list of contractors they recommend. My recommendation would be to show up at 5:00 a.m. and talk to the contractors that are there when the store opens.
