Looking for Anacortes, WA (Skagit) General Contractor

I am looking at older homes (and multi unit properties) in Anacortes, WA for a primary residence while I relocate and live here for my job. There are lots of deals to be had and I have the money to conventionally finance and rehab a home. But first, I'd like to connect with general contractors who has experience working in Anacortes. So together we can pick out the best of the worst, and estimate rehab costs before putting in an offer. So ideally, I'd like to establish a great relationship with a contractor for the entire purchase and rehab process. And if it goes well, why stop at one, I'd love to keep investing in the town. I have construction management experience, currently working on a $60 million school project, but am new to house flipping. I would make for an awesome team member, I just need to find a great residential GC partner.

Anacortes is wealthy, little town in Skagit County, and I'm looking for investor friendly contractors who want to rehab and flip from the areas of Anacortes, Skagit County, Burlington, Mount Vernon, Oak Harbor, Whatcom, and maybe Snohomish County and Seattle if it makes sense to travel or if you are interested in a new hot market. Please mention any investor friendly contractor recommendations my way, I would love to connect with people in this area. Thanks!

I'm new to the forum (and a bit biased I must say) but Anacortes is a great community to invest in. Yes, property prices are higher than nearly all surrounding areas, but it's an island of the best kind: you can drive to it; no ferry. Between the refineries or the Navy base close by, and the fantastic schools and low, low crime rate, it's place that more are more families are looking for.

I've got an older home as a rental that I rehabed myself. My day job is commercial boatbuilding, but I've spent >15yrs in general contracting. If you need any local contacts I'd be happy to point you to good people.
