Cost to Replace Pop Off Valve on a Water Heater
What would be a reasonable price to get a pop off valve replaced? VA Appraiser said had to be done.
The water heater is pretty old should maybe just be replaced. With a VA loan unsure if I could escrow this or not.

Most times tanks die before pressure relief does. If its that old, I would just change the whole water tank.
If you decide to do the valve, as Michael said, pretty cheap, just make sure the tank is off and cool before changing. Plus partially drained. ( and water supply to it off as well )
