Inside?  Need more details.  Walls are priced one way, ceilings another, then you have baseboard, trim and doors.  Colors, quality of paint, how much prep needed, holes patches etc.

Hello Victoria, great to see another Buffalonian here.  My wife and I moved down to Central Florida from Hamburg just over 5 years ago and are running our own brokerage and property management company.  What area of Florida are you looking for the park to be in?

If your unsure, hire a plumber as others have suggested, pipes are never level and your going to have water pool in low points which will freeze and bust the pipe.  Have them blown out and truly winterized by a reputable company. What you pay will save you probably triple that in repair costs.

Many years ago, Home Depot and Lowes used to have professionals from each trade in those departments, most were retired etc, I find that less and less nowadays and find myself helping customers out when I hear an employee giving really bad advice, so just take advice in the big box stores with a grain of salt.

As far as say a vanity, always go back with at least the same size, will save you ton of work fixing walls, floors etc. Slightly larger if space provides is fine too, just dont go smaller.

Youtube is great, just make sure to watch several on the same subject as you will see there are many different ways to do things and just because they are on Youtube, doesnt always make it right.

Hi Tim, it's great to connect with you. My wife and I are based in the DeLand, FL area, where she works as a broker, and we also handle property management. Back in New York, I was a general contractor for most of my career, but since moving to Florida five years ago, I've shifted my focus away from that side of things and handling the PM side of things.

Quote from @James Wise:
Quote from @Drew Sygit:

Here's some more "fun" to share with everyone.

Had an insurance claim a few years ago.

Helped owner maximize the claim with their insurance company. Interestingly, insurance companies have flat amounts for just about everything, based upon zip codes.

Once owner got their funds, they proceeded to nickel & dime us for every and any bid item we gave them. All our prices were UNDER what the insurance company paid, and they still weren't low enough.

So, owner went and hired someone to do the work cheaper than us.

3 months later they called us to take over and the job was a mess. Their cheap guy took their money and did only half the work, which was shoddy at best.

Ya'll remember the "Cash Flow King" Matt Motil? He used to be a regular contributer on the BP forums. He operated out here in Cleveland before he got exposed for running a Ponzi scheme. He used to tell people HoltonWise charged too much for repairs.

We took over a property Matt "renovated" for one of his customers. Check out this kitchen he did lol.

Who doesnt run their pex on the outside of walls and cabinets....lol

Did you do a walkthrough with them and checklist signoff before occupancy? We also like to do a video walkthrough as well, tougher to fight that in court.

We have investor clients throughout Palm Coast, Daytona and surrounding areas including DeLand. Orlando is a little too far west for us to give proper info or support. Drop me a line if your still needing assistance.
