Building Connections for deals.

Hello, I just moved to NC 6 months ago and currently have one LTR in Long Beach MS. Unfortunately, I don't have any connections when it comes to real estate investing. My first property was based on a VA loan. My plan was to make another deal within a year of moving here, but due to some circumstances my money has been drained. So I'm hoping to build connections with like-minded investors and to expand knowledge within the house flipping side of investing. I know there are possible ways to make another deal even in my circumstances and i am doing my due diligence.
