Hey Freddy, it’s nice to hear from you. I was a seabee in the USN. 7 years of great memories that’s for sure. I actually found a meet up here in Charlotte on the 16th I’m going to. I’m also looking into getting my real estate license this year to help as an extra source of income but also just to learn the ins and outs even more. In the end knowledge is power!

I was medically retired last year in September and moved here for my job in the post office. I’m currently living in mount holly so I’m looking in the surrounding areas as well. I have been considering the possible lease to own option. Unfortunately my credit took a huge hit because I co-signed for someone’s vehicle and got burned with them missing 8 payments. So I’m just trying to continue the investment road with that roadblock

I am in Charlotte as well. Technically mount holly is where I live but Charlotte is right next door.

Hello, I just moved to NC 6 months ago and currently have one LTR in Long Beach MS. Unfortunately, I don't have any connections when it comes to real estate investing. My first property was based on a VA loan. My plan was to make another deal within a year of moving here, but due to some circumstances my money has been drained. So I'm hoping to build connections with like-minded investors and to expand knowledge within the house flipping side of investing. I know there are possible ways to make another deal even in my circumstances and i am doing my due diligence.

Investment Info:

Single-family residence other investment.

Purchase price: $165,900
Cash invested: $16,000

My first house that I purchased with the VA loan. Now officially my first rental property.

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

For a long time now I have dabbled in the idea of creating a real estate portfolio. Once I purchased the house in MS and made it a rental I realize I don’t want to stop at just 1 or 10. I wanna build a portfolio that will go beyond just me but for my future family.

How did you finance this deal?

I used the VA loan and after moving to NC with 1 years passing I was able to make it a rental property.

How did you add value to the deal?

I replaced the outside AC unit when first buying the house. I have also replaced windows and currently just repainted the interior of the home.
