Corporate Residential Rentals

Does anyone have experience with contracting with large corporations to rent high-end residential houses? We have a new high end house that would be great for a corporate rental. Google opened a large campus nearby and we have other large companies here (near Boulder Colorado). We started with their HR departments as generally they are responsible for housing and travel but we haven't had any success.

Our current tenants have a two-year lease and will be leaving early next year so I would love to try to create a relationship for a corporate housing rental now. Any ideas?

Replied

Hi contributors,  I have a medium term rental on aribnb (ad says >30days),  CHBO, VRBO and have good luck with low vacancy so far.  No corp relo tenants so far.  1 corp business travel to do work 5 mo stay, 1 family for 3 mo to remodel a house,  1 current stay for 1 mo (maybe 2) in town for medical proceedures.  All via CHBO and Airbnb I believe.

I deligated to a local Airbnb co-host so I actually don't know for sure. In my city this place couldn't meet their requirements for true STR of <30day stays, they need home stead exemption another discussion..

What occured to me thinking about non-professional housing seekers looking for medium term stays they may not be savy to find me on CHBO even VRBO.  I would think that even the most naive corp relo search would think of Aribnb??  So the following may not be needed or make sense.

In my area, Atlanta, zillow rent manager has turned on their new business model of charging $10/week to advertise.   CHBO charges an annual fee around $500 (??) to use their platform to market.  I wonder if it makes sense to pay zillow $520/yr to keep an ad up in the rental section?   Just brain storming.

I actually don't have a vacancy problem (yet) but since this thread has a good subject, it may get experienced eyeballs reading and may comment.
