Looking for REI or Networking opportunities

Richelle Hatch

I am new to real estate investing and I am looking to network with others that are in real estate.

I live close to Seattle Washington and I am new to the area. I would love to find a REI group or some kind of networking group that I can be a part of to learn from and hopefully share my limited knowledge with also.

I want to learn more about flipping and buy and hold w/multi-family units.

@Richelle Hatch Welcome!

Here are the meetups that my business partner and I host, co-host or actively participate and think are worthwhile for you to check out as well:

http://www.meetup.com/SREIISeattle/ (we host this one. Each meeting we discuss topics that our audience told us would be of interest for them)

http://www.meetup.com/Real-Estate-Wholesale-Flip-I... (we co-host this one. The big attention is put towards a portfolio approach to investing in Real Estate. @Ryland Taniguchi is leading this workshop and it is targeted to answer audience questions about wholesaling, rehabbing, Self Directed IRA and Solo 401K and all other questions as well as analysis of deals).

http://www.meetup.com/PacificNWRealEstate/ - Meetings are held about 3 times a month in different locations: Kirkland, Seattle and Lakewood. You can meet there a lot of people who are members of Bigger Pockets. It’s a Social networking group.

http://www.meetup.com/SeattleInvestorsClub/ - Meetings are held once a month in Renton. This one has annual dues of $250, but the first meeting is free. It’s networking and educational group that has local investors or certain area specialists present at each meeting.

http://www.reapsweb.com/ - Has annual dues of about $250, first meeting is free. General meeting is once a month in Bellevue and there are also local meetings in South and North ends. General meeting usually has some guru from out of state to present. Local experts present in South and North end meeting.

Welcome! I live in Kent. I'm new to this as well. Feel free to add me on here. There are a few groups locally but I haven't had time yet to go to any of them. Check meetup.com for them..

Welcome @Josh Pass and @Richelle Hatch. @Tatiana Gershanovich pretty much summed it all up. She and her partner are very knowledgeable about many aspects of REI. They are present at most of the meetings I attend.
