Impact of Ft. Bragg deployment

For those real estate investors in the Fayetteville NC area, what impact (if any) does the deployment have on you or the area? There are reportedly (WRAL) a total of 3,000 troops leaving in the next few days, for up to nine months.

I guess I'm posting because I've never fully understood the local rental real estate dynamics of these deployments. Can someone post about if there is a correlation between deployments and vacancy or rent rates? Or are these events not really impactful on your real estate business?

@Chris Gantz - define "huge" - Fort Bragg is the largest military installation in the world with 50,000 active duty troops. Also, most families don't move during a deployment. Kids are in school, have friends, etc.
