If you carry a gun
I found this and had to share. It is a lifetime of info in 30-40 minutes.
This is not a debate for or against the merits of carrying a gun. This is for the consideration of "what next" if you do decide to take on carrying a gun. There has been discussion after discussion on both sides of the issue of carrying a gun. While that's fine, you need to understand something further.
Carrying a gun is not the end of the story. It is only the very beginning. You need to consider what is going to happen should you ever have to draw that gun from your holster or bag. The following is a 4 part presentation by Massad Ayoob on knowing when it ok and when it is not ok to draw your firearms and use it. Amongst many things, Mas is a career police officer who dedicates hundreds of hours to teaching non-police civilians their legal rights and responsibilities as gun owners. I directly consulted him when I chose the handgun I carry today. It is smart to carry a gun in some circumstances, but it brings with it huge responsibilities. This is a good lecture to listen to.
Don't turn this into a debate, please. This is purely informational for those who have made a decision to legally carry.
