Looking to 1031 into Orlando, Jacksonville or Tampa/Sarasota Area
Hello,
My name is Nick. I am part owner of a small real estate investment group (16 units) in Ohio. We are in the process of selling a couple of our properties in hopes of doing a 1031 into a multiunit in Orlando, Jacksonville or Tampa/Sarasota. Our budget would be approximately 1.2 million. We are specifically looking for an agent that:
1.Works with out of state investors
2.Has extensive knowledge of the multi-family investment landscape of 2/3 of the cities above
3.Has connections to property management companies that work with out of state investors.
Please let me know if anyone has any recommendations. We are eager to start our search!
Nick

Hello,
As an investment specialist in Tampa Florida I could give you some advice. Being a Realtor In Tampa our MLS will only allow us to go a certain distance say from Tampa to Orlando but no further. SO I would recommend to search in all locations for an agent. I myself specialize in helping investors acquire multi/commercial deals in Tampa (surrounding locations) up to Orlando. Its very important for me to know all theses areas and they're the top locations in the State and in the country to invest into. There are some great property management companies in all locations. Each is different from one another so I would recommend doing due diligence on each one. My brokerage at Rent It Network has a full team of agents, property managers and a maintenance crew to make it a one stop shop for investors. Also make sure the Realtor you chose understand a 1031 exchange. I hope this helps!
