Best areas in Florida for multifamily investing

Hi guys

We are a Tel Aviv based real estate investment firm looking to bring foreign capital into value add deals in a CO- GP structure, partnering with Florida based operators with proven track record.

We have spent the past 6 months researching sub markets within Florida with the aim of focusing our investments in 1 or 2 markets that cover some of our key criteria (Job growth, employment growth etc). Clearly, however, nothing beats walking a city and getting a feel for it.

With COVID subsiding now, and international travel opening up, we are planning a trip to Florida starting the 3rd week of June.

It would be great to hear people's opinions on where you think the best markets are to invest in MF properties. Our preference is to be as close to Miami as possible (As far north as Fort Lauderdale) which would allow us to fly in and out from Tel Aviv pretty easily and quickly.

And of course, if there are any like minded people interested in meeting us while we are there, that would be awesome too!

Best,

Oniel

It seems you know where you want to be, I think its just a matter of networking. You've mentioned two good markets already. Anything near or around those two are potentially good markets as people look to move further out from those markets.
