My name is Keaton Edwards and this is my first time on bigger pockets. If there is anybody in Evansville Indiana who could give me some tips and pointers I would greatly appreciate it! I’m interested in building my portfolio and equity through rentals but also would love to flip. Thank you guys!

Hello and welcome. I lived in Evansville for a few years and recently moved but still invest there. I would start by making sure you have solid financials, for peace of mind and easier to get loans if you want/need them. I paid off all of my debts and then started saving. After you have some sort of cushion, start researching the types of rentals you are interested in, single family homes, small multifamily homes, etc. I would stick with one investment strategy to start and then branch out as you get comfortable. Good luck with everything!
