New Member Introduction
Hey BiggerPockets Community, My name is Ky! I moved to Austin, Texas almost a year ago. I am huge fan of the podcast and all of the great resources here on the site.
I am new to Real Estate and my goal is to become a successful Real Estate Investor. My background is in Marketing, Sales and Entrepreneurship.
I have always been interested in Real Estate Investing and being able to generate passive income. I am committed to learning the In's and Out's, Networking and taking massive action on turning my investing goals into a reality.

@Ky Logue that's how I'm mainly acquiring rentals in Austin and it also helps me to keep my living expenses low! Essentially househacking is buying a property and renting out space that you aren't using. I like buying a duplex and renting out the other unit. You have to live there for a year but after you move out you can turn it into a rental property! The best thing is you can use low down payment loans (3-5%) to buy the properties.
