I'm in my late 20s and have some college experience but no degree. I've been curious about real estate investing for a long time. My family has a small undeveloped plot (I've never seen it) in another state and used to own more land which is developed.

I got a bad impression and experience from the "gurus" back before the market crashed, and stopped thinking about it for a while. This past summer I sold alarm systems door to door for 6 days a week, and to break up the monotony, began reading a real estate investing book that my friend had laying around.

I hopped on Amazon and found Sean Terry's Flip 2 Freedom book and podcast and have since been absorbing as much knowledge as I can. I've also begun listening to the Real Estate Investing Mastery podcast as well as the Biggerpockets podcast, and signed up for Kent Clothier's email list.

I'm currently working at a Realtor's office calling leads, and although I'm very low on funds, plan to set up my LLC so I can start wholesaling and plan on attending local REIA meetings to learn more and begin networking.

Although there are a lot of avenues in real estate I am interested in, I will be focusing my time and efforts in wholesaling in the beginning.
