Hello BP friends,

Long-time BP lurker, introvert, and podcast listener, just now making my first post...so hello!

Without boring everyone to death, here's some quick background on my real estate adventures. Been in sales, marketing, call centers, for the past 16 years. I took the plunge last year and obtained my first 7 rental properties (5 SFH and 1 duplex). In fact, I purchased my first property after I was laid off from my (what-I-thought-was-secure) W2 job of 7 years...and right after relocating for the company (I know, right? Ain't that some s***!). Anyway, I took 100% of my savings while being unemployed and purchased a small SFH that I BRRRR'd in about 60 days. It may have been crazy to do, fortunately the deal worked out really great...but oh, the sleepless nights! After that, I purchased a couple turnkeys from local investors, and did other rehabs (all cash deals), with the goal of recouping all or most of my investment from the equity I had using traditional lender financing.

That strategy has worked well, but I've kind of hit a wall and am really struggling to put together my next deal(s) (possibly looking for a multi-family unit as my goal is to grow to 20 units by EOY). I have good credit, a couple great lenders, and can often purchase for cash. I think I just need to put myself out there and meet more people...which is why I'm here.

What's the best way to connect with folks on here (and locally)? I'd love to share some of my experiences and add value anyway I can based on my experiences and existing relationships. I'd also love to learn more about finding good, contractors wholesalers, lenders, and sellers in the Canton, OH area.

Thanks in advance! I'm looking forward to future posts and learning more from everyone here.

Welcome! the best way to connect on here is to ask questions and offer advice on the forums. It seems like you have a good idea of what to do already.

Best of luck!
