New Investor from New York! Got my Finances now what? :)
Hi Everyone!
I am a New Investor from New York! I'm 100% excited to grow, learn and hopefully provide my experience later on with the bigger pockets community. I've have had my fair share of brokering deals for other people, now i'd like to do so for myself!
My name is Daniel, I've been in Real Estate Sales for over a decade and currently work in Manhattan, i'm originally from queens, my specialty is on Residential Sales in NYC/West Queens, and my goal is to find an area 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes away with multifamilies that has upside potential, BRRR, or flip that's $100K-$150K per door. I stumbled upon the following areas (East Orange, Newark, Yonkers, Long Beach)
Any guidance from people that have experience in the area mentioned or other areas that you might suggest would be appreciated!
There's a lot to learn, but I'm a quick learner, have working capital, and have immense experience in marketing. I'm ready to fire and aim!
Look forward to being part of BP!

Daniel, welcome. I too am scouting out metro NY areas as I consider moving back from Raleigh, NC. I have built a small rental business down here but understand NY is a different game. Please PM me to maybe review/ share some findings together.
I have a few friends that are buying local foreclosures and had success with BRRR strategy. Good luck!
