Hello from Queens NY, noob here.
Good evening BP,
Name is Matthew Greco, 32, living here in Maspeth NY right now. I currently have a small amount real estate experience. I have owned and sold a co-op in the part. Bought it when I was 26, sold it when I was 31 to move in with the GF. We now rent an apartment in her mother's house here in Maspeth.(This is a story for a separate thread =)
That's where my experience ends. I'm really looking to learn about rentals for cash flow.
I'm a 13 year UPS driver in downtown Manhattan. The truth is; I've had enough of working for them, or working for anyone really. The pay is fine at UPS, the other b/s that comes along with it, is not worth it.
I recently read Rich Dad ( I see that's how most made it over to BP) and a lot of what was in the book, were things I'd always been thinking about in recent years. IE; passive income. Currently reading Cash Flow Quadrant and binge listening to BP podcast.
Passive income or non UPS related income has always been a dream, I think it's time to either follow that dream or at least learn enough to decide whether or not to follow it. I'm eager to learn and more eager to take action.
Hope to make some friends, colleagues and mentors. Seem to be a ton of good people here, hoping to learn a lot.
Matt
P.S. I've looking over the reading list, could you guys point out maybe the top 3 I can scoop up this week and really get my education going. Also what would the top 3 podcasts be?
Thanks again.

I wouldn't bash my current employer on a public forum such as this, especially considering you are using your own name here.
That being said, welcome to the forum. I'm also a Queens guy and real estate investor. Rich Dad is a motivational book, glad to see it got you motivated but use the resources on this site including the podcasts to really do a deep-dive and learn.
Best of luck!
