Hey folks,

My name is Jake Kodweis, and I'm a 29-year-old just starting my real estate investment journey.  My wife Carly and I were just married at a rental property in Reunion, Florida last week, and between Disney and Universal theme park visits I picked up Robert Kiyosaki's Rich Dad, Poor Dad.  This book was truly inspirational and left me hungry for a deeper knowledge of real estate as an investment vehicle.  It wasn't long before I found BiggerPockets, and read the Beginner's Guide on the flight home. I live in a suburb of Rochester, NY and I'm leaning towards renting multifamily units in a college market.  I've still got a lot of learning to do before I get started, but BiggerPockets seems like an incredible resource.  See y'all in the forums!

JAKE
