Hi everyone! I am new to bigger pockets and excited to interact with established investors and landlords! I am currently working as a property manager at a large apartment complex in Newark, Delaware. My goal is in the next 6 months to purchase my first rental property! I have been doing tons a research and ran across this site and thinks it's awesome. Any advise that you could offer to someone in my position would be greatly appreciated.  My long term goal is to have several solid rentals then move into rehabbing and flipping homes.

Hey @Jessica Milani, welcome to BP! Your property management experience will definitely be an asset. When I started out, I learned by trial and error - I rented a property to a couple that had 6 evictions in the prior 5 years, but I only found out after they were already my tenants...

I am currently halfway through a rental rehab in Newark, if you are interested you are welcome to stop by and check it out. PM me for the address.
