New In Southern California

I am new to real estate investing but I have really enjoyed Bigger Pockets. I feel like it is actually possible to invest, even though is seems hard in Southern California. I guess I am nervous that I will do too much analysis and book reading and not enough doing, but I know so little. . . I guess mostly it is fear. Anyways, I really have learned a lot in the short time. I have been on the forums and everyone has been really great and inspiring. I am considering becoming a real estate agent just to pick up some more knowledge, but I don't know if I am over thinking it. Pretty much just glad to be connected to Bigger Pockets.
