I am a 19 year old new member from Phoenix, Arizona. I live in the East Valley (East Mesa). These past 3 years I've gone through a dramatic change from constant happiness to utter depression. In the past 3 years I've had dreams crushed, best friends pass, jobs failed, and more. Despite all the downfalls, all the hurt, all the pain life puts me through I've found a way to fight through it all. Although I'm not the same person I was 3 years ago, I'm stronger, smarter and through all the darkness I believe I've found my light.

I embark on my journey into real estate investing starting TODAY. I just found this website online through a Google search for real estate investing and I am so glad I found it! I am new to real estate investing and can't wait to do my first deal. I would like to start out doing some wholesale deals where I find properties and do an assignment of contract. I start classes at the Arizona School of Real Estate next Monday (28th). I would like to first find someone who can help me with my first deal. I would also like to find someone who I can assist in various tasks as a "Real Estate Assistant" helping with listing, open houses, etc to learn more. I feel like there's so much to learn, and can get overwhelming cause book knowledge can only get you so far. Looking to meet as many people as possible, and make history.

Welcome to the bigger pockets community, it sounds like you were very driven which is a must need in this field. I am pretty new to it myself, I just finished real estate school last month. It is a lot of information all at once, so make sure you study and take the practice quizzes after each class. You got this man. Next time there is a phoenix meet up you should definitely show up, it's a great way to meet other investors.
