After 20 years of wishing, I finally bought my first rental house. I am officially a landlord. This was a creative purchase from a fellow Bigger Pockets investor and I loved the experience. I am looking forward to many more!

@Paul Manion - Congrats and thanks to BP, your 20 year wishing streak is now history!

Welcome to the world of tenant management, be careful what you wish for as it just might come to fruition and in this case it did.

Of course you can be a landlord and if help is needed there is a huge BP community waiting to assist.

Good luck and best wishes on your REI journey.
