@Account Closed , your question is timely. Actually, I listened to BP Podcast #229 today and it gave a lot of insight on Airbnb. The guest @Zeona McIntyre, who is an expert on Airbnb, has a service that covers the operations of this business for a fee and it can relieve you of the mundane tasks of cleaning and the "works" as indicated. This is displayed under the header "Short-term Rental Hospitality Management" at her website https://www.zeonamcintyre.com/services/

I read the other inputs from the BP community and they are on target as well, so, coupled with my response you should be able to determine which is best for your REI opportunity....rentals or Airbnb.

@Victor Moga - Welcome to the vibrant BP community. Your time here will be well spent.

Thanks to @Pyrrha Rivers for referencing my links below.

Now that you have made the move, below are some links that will help

with the navigation of the site.

As you know, REI has many areas of interest so you need to pick one to focus on and then expand if needed. Below, are three of the most popular niches that you might want to explore to see which one grabs your interest.

https://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2015/01/31/ultimate-beginners-guide-real-estate-wholesaling-2/ (Ultimate beginners guide to wholesaling)

http://www.biggerpockets.com/renewsblog/2014/01/07/flipping-houses/ (step by step guide to flips)

Additionally, in the interim, simply bone up on the areas that you need to expand knowledge in such as, Forums, Marketplace, Learn, Network, Analyze and Resources.

Continue to feast on the Podcasts, #askbp Podcasts, blogs and webinars

Lastly, this site thrives on interactions and as such we encourage two way

exchanges and look forward to educational, thought provoking ideas

relevant to REI.

@Chris Colon

Welcome to the vibrant BP community. Ok, now that you have taken your initial step, below are some quick links to get engaged.

It's interesting that you mentioned "without a lot of risk or a lot of money" in the same sentence.

REI is not without risks, but, you have to determine your niche of interest, get educated in its fundamentals, continue to update your skillsets and take risk as necessary to produce the desired outcome.

Clearly, I am a calculated risk taker and below is a quote for your reading.

The biggest risk is not taking any risk... In a world that changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.

I also added #AskBP podcast 023 which talks about the first thing a new REI should do.
