Post: Responding to tenant's request to add on a media site

I just received a friend request on LinkedIn from a tenant as well. First thing I thought was, "Is that weird?" He's a professional guy, but "friending" him wouldn't really benefit me in my day job. However, he is a very good "customer" in that he sends me money every month (early,) takes care of the house and doesn't complain. I don't use LinkedIn for real estate purposes, or for anything significant, really, so I don't have an issue with it. I thought about accepting out of a show of respect...perhaps that little gesture keeps me from having a rental turnover in 7 months.

If I change my mind, I can unfriend him just as easily somewhere down the road...

Single malts: The recommendations depend on the budget. $55 Ardbeg 10 yr (peated), Highland Park 12 (balanced peat and sherry--my favorite in this price range), Glendronach (sherry). $85 Aberlour A'bunadh always a great sherry bomb.  >$100 Lagavulin 16 yr (peat), Highland Park 18 yr (balanced peat and oak) both of these are excellent. Let me know something your friend likes. It will help to suggest something similar or contrasting.

@Jeff Rabinowitz   Thanks for the recommendations! I've heard him say he likes balanced. I think I'll get him one of the Highland Park bottles.

I'm looking at a couple potential options a little closer to home...will let you know if they progress!

@Jeff Rabinowitz What's the best way to find out?  By the way, I'm thinking of getting a great friend of mine a bottle of scotch for his birthday. Any favorites you would recommend?
