New member looking to become part of the family

Hey guys, my name is Igor Muguruza love the podcast you guys have started. Im trying to get into the business on the Miami area, a quite difficult area to get introduced into this business. The plan so far is to buy and hold or start with a simple flip. Im willing to trade labor skills for knowledge or some cash capital to invest with any of the season veterans down in my area. So far what i've been able to get is a conventional loan to buy at least 4 properties and rent them. Can any of you vets tell me if this is a good strategy? @Igor Muguruza - Welcome to BP! I have to second @Ned Carey's suggestion about networking at the local REIA's. Thats one of the best ways to learn AND meet the people who will help you grow your portfolio. The Dade REIA meeting is probably the most convenient for you if you are in Miami. Also, a few BP members from South Florida have organized a meetup that was in Miami last month and is in Ft Lauderdale this month.
