Newbie to investing and BP in the greater Bay Area, CA
Hello BP community!
I'm so glad to have found you and I look forward to getting to know members in my community. I became interested in wholesaling and rehabbing a few short months ago. Although I have no background in real estate, I do have a stellar record in sales and negotiations through my career in medical sales. I thrive in an eat what you kill scenario and have always enjoyed the freedom that comes along with such a set up.
I'm interested in wholesaling SLRs for starters in the Bay Area and rehabbing. I welcome any and all advice from those of you who are already succeeding at this. Thank you!

Welcome @Heather Thompson !
Your sales and negotiation experience will come in handy in this line of work! I own some property just across the bridge from you in Richmond, and down in Oakland where I live. I also have meetups in SF & Oakland if you can make it out.. There is also a monthly real estate meetup called Bay Area Wealth Builders in Corte Madera. Closer to you..
@Kathleen L. is in Berkeley and has some experience further up north, and with rehabbing. @Andrew Fingado is in the Richmond/Berkeley market. And @Brian Burke is a super active investor a bit further north from you in Santa Rosa.
I'll be honest: there aren't a ton of wholesalers out there actively selling deals, but they do get done, and I've bought one before. So get out there, meet with others, and get started! Check out the "learn" link at the top for some basics..
