Hello from Central Florida!
Hello Everyone!
I'm Scott Wagoner from Orlando Florida.
I got started in the industry by going to work for a local seasoned investor who put me on the phones calling FSBO's. That went well until I realized that he had no intentions of actually teaching me the ropes, but just wanted me on the phones. After expressing to him that I did not want to just work for someone, I wanted to actually do deals on my own. He explained to me that he spent a lot of money going to seminars and learning different things. So within a week I was sitting in a hotel conference room with about 300 other people and about $5K less in my wallet. But within 1 week of completing this course, I purchased my 1st rehab project. That's where the real learning started...what was supposed to be a 1 month project, turned into 6 months and me being ripped off numerous contractors. Needless to say I sold that house and put about $70K in my pocket! Since then I have done everything from Negotiate Short Sales, Subject To deals, Lease Options, wholesale etc...
I am currently working with a broker in the Central Florida area where I hang my license and focus mainly on wholesaling to investors.
